The main objective of Our Bus Ministry is to bring children in our community to church to learn about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and His teachings. It helps to provide transportation to children, teenagers and others who without it, would not be able to come to church.
The bus ministry has been called the greatest evangelistic tool in the history of the local church. Millions upon millions of people have come to church, heard the Gospel preached, and had their lives forever changed since the introduction of bus ministries. At Highland Park Baptist Church, we have seen the powerful, life-changing impact of this ministry on countless boys and girls. Our team makes home visits in the community to identify children who have challenges accessing transportation to church services and activities. We then provide bus transportation on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. On Sunday we provide breakfast and a take home sack lunch. On Wednesday, we provide a light supper and snack.
