A Labor of Love outside these walls …

Remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:3 (ESV)

A Labor of Love outside these walls is an expansive ministry spreading across many different areas of craftsmanship, creativity and other methods of discipleship.  If you have a special skill or talent and believe that you can put it to work for the Lord, then the Labor of Love Ministry is a good starting point.  You don’t have to stay in just one area though, spread out, learn, share and teach your skill to others in our church and in our community.

One of our favorites:

Tiny Trees – Small Christmas trees individually designed and decorated by our Church Members and then donated to Children’s Hospital in downtown Knoxville. Each holiday season, children in the hospital during the holidays are given a tree of their own to decorate their room. When the child goes home, they get to take the tree with them. On average we send approximately 100 trees per year.
