Call for Candy!

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 24th.  We already have thousands of plastic eggs, now we need candy to put into them!  Please bring whatever you can.  (Except for Chocolate! It melts!) The youth have agreed to stuff the eggs for us.

2018 Calendar

If you wish to reserve the fellowship building, please call Roy Goodwin (986-3149) who is a member of the Building & Grounds Committee.  Once your request is approved, your name will be placed on the Calendar.  Rental fee is $50.00.

Letters from Roscoe

Today we board the ship for our cruise to Alaska and then by train on to Denali.   I will do my best to continue publishing the Daily Bible Verses and Devotionals whenever internet access is available.

Homebound Meeting Postponed

The March 31 Homebound meeting has been postponed until Sunday Evening, April 3rd after the evening services.  Meet in Room 103. Going forward Homebound meetings will be held the last Sunday of the month, following the evening services in Room 103.

Inquiring minds want to know …

Why did we decide to change to a new web site?  The current hosting provider wanted to charge extra for every additional feature; mailboxes, event calendar,etc…  We were very limited with what we could do with ‘canned’ and ‘beginner’ level web publishing tools.  If you look around the www.highlandparklc.com website, you will see that the Event Calendar is much easier to use and update, sermons can be easily accessed and found.
