A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, And thy thoughts shall be established.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive oil shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be not herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, And his ears are open unto their prayers: But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
