Verse of the Day (Page 231)

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

For a day in thy courts better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:  because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:  for the former things are passed away.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:  if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For bodily exercise profiteth little:  but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

Nor height, nor depth, no any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
