Verse of the Day (Page 256)

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;  And walk in love, as Christ hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  No man hath seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.  He loveth righteousness and judgement: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared fir then that love Him.
