And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in the knowledge and in all judgement; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me , and from the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
