These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.  In the world ye shall have tribulation:  but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

¹I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and supplications.  ²Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger: and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow:  for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.  Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Open rebuke is better than secret love.  Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
