Verse of the Day (Page 272)

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

¹ Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;  ²  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour. 

¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.  ¹² No man hath seen God at any time.  If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:  not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:  old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
