Verse of the Day (Page 274)

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

²³ Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Rejoicing in hope; in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.

² Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name. ³ Call unto me,  and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

What?  know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price:  therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not: charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast. unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

For thou hast possessed my reins:  thou has covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:  marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meeknes, longsuffering;
