What was God thinking when He made you?

Did you ever stop and think . . . What was God thinking when He created you?

Do you think He knew that you would be so flawed?  Did He know that you would one day wander so far away from him?  Did He know that you would one day break his commandments?  Not just once but many times?

Did He know that you would be so weak and would sin against Him constantly?

Did He know that you would spend most of your life without him?  Denying him, refusing to even acknowledge that He was the one that created you.

Did He know that I would one day meet someone who would pray for me?  Would love me?  Would eventually help me to come back to God?

Yes He knew.

Because He created you out of love.  He loved you even when you did wrong.  Even when you were so far away from Him and denying Him in front of others, He loved you enough to keep watching over and protecting you.  He loved you enough to send His only begotten Son for you.  To die for you so that you could once again be with Him one day.

Yes he knew.  He knew everything that you were, that you are and that you will be.

And still He loves you.

Great truth! We cannot do anything that will make God love us more than he already does. BUT, the good news is neither can we do anything to make Him love us any less.
